Cultural Competency Review

The goal of the Voices JH Cultural Competency Review is to ensure that all data collection tools are culturally sensitive and will be well received by the immigrant communities of the Teton region.

What is included in the review?

The review will be conducted by three editors -- a community member with cultural expertise, a Voices Community Organizer, and a member of an immigrant community in the Teton region. Each editor will provide an independent review of the survey, and then all stakeholders will discuss as a group to offer concrete feedback and recommendations to the organization. In the Voices’ Cultural Competency Review, we consult on comprehensiveness, length, and inclusiveness of every survey. Organizations will receive written feedback and recommendations compiled by Voices based on the feedback of the editors.
