A 5-part professional development series to support the success and resilience of young, Latinx professionals in their nonprofit, government and business roles.

These topics were collaboratively identified as areas for professional growth by members of the
Latinx Professionals Network.

  • Latinx young professionals are rising quickly within workplaces, and serving as managers and supervisors to their peers. This workshop will provide young professionals with leadership tips and tricks to support their successful managerial skills.

    This workshop will be taught by Leticia Liera, Executive Director of Alumbra Innovations Foundation. The workshop is scheduled for August 14th, 2023, from 10:30am-1:30pm.

  • Latinx professionals are often the only people of color in their workplace. This workshop will embrace a real talk approach about the challenges of being a BIPOC leader, while also inspiring Latinx professionals to celebrate their unique talents and voice in their workplaces.

    This workshop will be taught by Shelby Read, Partner & Senior Strategist at Rocky Mountain Consulting. The workshop is scheduled for September 19th, 2023, from 10:30am-1:30pm.

  • Latinx professionals often struggle with imposter syndrome and the confidence to self advocate in the workplace. This workshop will foster a community of empowerment, and provide education on self advocacy tactics and norms.

    This workshop will be taught by Jennifer Ford, Founder of Frederick Mountain Group. The workshop is scheduled for October 17th, 2023, from 10:30am-1:30pm.

  • Latinx young professionals are trying to make it work in Jackson with the rising cost of living, while confronting a historical lack of financial education. This workshop will provide an introduction to wealth building strategies to support young professionals in making a home in Teton County.

    This workshop speaker is yet to be determined. The workshop will occur in November, 2023.

  • Latinx young professionals are experiencing burnout and toxic stress in jobs where the aftermath of COVID-19 has escalated their workloads. This workshop will provide practical daily tools to reduce stress, anxiety and second hand trauma.
